Excerpt Generator

The Excerpt Generator analyzes the content of a page or article and fills the excerpt tab with generated values.

What it does

In the Excerpt tab of pages and articles, editors trigger the generation and receive suggestions derived from the document content:

Field	Description
title	A title that makes the content interesting in overview and teaser contexts
description	A brief description of the content, used on overview pages
more	A suitable link text for the page, e.g. "read more" or "more about …"

The document content is extracted from the page structure and sent as context to the sulu.ai platform, so the suggestions match the actual page. Additional context can be added via custom context providers.

Permission

Gated by the sulu.ai.excerpt_generator security context (category Sulu AI). Grant VIEW to roles that should see the generate action in the excerpt tab.
