SEO Generator¶
The SEO Generator analyzes the content of a page or article and fills the SEO tab with generated values.
What it does¶
In the SEO tab of pages, articles, and products, editors trigger the generation and receive suggestions for all SEO fields, derived from the actual document content:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
title |
The SEO title, optimized for search results and the browser tab (max. 55 characters) |
description |
The meta description shown in search result snippets |
keywords |
A list of keywords matching the page content |
The document content is extracted from the page structure (title, blocks, text fields) and sent as context to the sulu.ai platform, so the suggestions are grounded in what is actually on the page. Additional context (brand voice, target audience, …) can be added via custom context providers.
Reviewing suggestions¶
If the SEO tab is still empty, generation fills the fields directly. If it already holds content, a dialog opens and generation starts right away, showing the new suggestion next to the current content instead of overwriting it. Both columns are read-only comparisons; editors can toggle whether the suggestion should optimize the existing content, regenerate, or apply the suggestion with Insert. The optimize checkbox starts ticked, so the first suggestion is a rewrite of the current content rather than a fresh one; untick it and regenerate for a suggestion that ignores the existing text.
Permission¶
Gated by the sulu.ai.seo_generator security context (category Sulu AI). Grant VIEW to roles that should see the generate action in the SEO tab.
MCP¶
Available to AI clients as the sulu_ai_seo_generate tool — see MCP Tools.
